The training, implemented as a discussion with the trainer or as a presentation, is either way practice-oriented: Each employee has the opportunity to complete 2 practical argumentation exercises and put the learned immediately into practice.

9.00 – 9.30 Ten Commandments of argumentation
The principles of argumentation are the foundation on which convincing argumentation can take place.
9.30 – 10.00 Abstract types of argumentation
There are universal patterns of argumentation that can be applied in any situation and any industry, such as causality, deduction, induction, proof, comparison and many others. To know them is a big advantage.
10.00 – 10.30 Concrete types of argumentation
In contrast to abstract types of argumentation, concrete patterns of argumentation draw their strength from a very specific area: In this thematic block we learn economic, legal, moral, idealistic and many other patterns of argumentation.
10.30 – 12.30 1. Exercise (speech) and individual feedback
Each participant gives a speech on argumentation in which he uses abstract and concrete types of argumentation and implements in practice what he has learned so far. The speech will be recorded on video and the participant will receive detailed feedback.
12.30 – 13.30 - Lunch break -
13.30 – 14.00 The art of refutation
This thematic block is about pointing out weaknesses of argumentation and to refute arguments effectively. In order to do so, participants learn 5 ways of refutation.
14.00 – 14.30 Rational argumentation versus emotional argumentation
Not only rational, thus reasonable, reasons are able to convince people. Emotions can also be used to get people to change their opinions and actions. This section deals with these emotional patterns of argumentation.
14.30 – 16.50 2. Exercise (speech) and individual feedback
In the second speech on argumentation, each participant will refute a given argumentation and not only use rational argumentation, but also practice emotional arguments.
16.50 – 17.00 How to improve sustainably?
Autodidactic tips, with which you can improve your argumentation skills independently, continuously and successfully even after the course.

Our 4 argumentation trainers are internationally distingueshed speakers. Mr. Jachtchenko is Top speaker in Europe and a quarter-finalist at World Championships and Mr. Witzmann is German champion in Debating championships, a semi-finalist in European Debating Championships. Finally, Mr. Dankerl is a quarter-finalist at World Championships and a semi-finalist at the German Debating Championship. Innovative Concept | Argumentorik How many people can participate in an argumentation training?

We recommend a maximum number of 12 employees, with an unlimited number of people who like to be present as so-called "silent observer". Our goal is to increase each employee's argumentation skills on one day. Our rhetoric trainer gives in-depth feedback on each person's rhetorical challenges after each exercise. A training with only 3-6 participants is obviously much more intense. By the way, at the end of the successful training everybody receives a certificate of attendance.

Practical Excercises | Argumentorik Are there practical exercises included?

Yes! Our argumentation training is explicitly tailored to the everyday practical requirements in argumentative situations of your employees. Each employee has the opportunity to complete 2 excercises on argumentation. These exercises are integrated in the schedule of the seminar and are about putting the learned argumentation techniques immediately into practice. We have been observing for years that the greatest learning effect of our clients lies in our realistic excercises on argumentation. And that they regularly regard our exercises as the "highlight" of the seminar. That's why we put a lot of emphasis on practice and pay attention to a distribution of 20% theory and 80% practice. Europe-wide | Argumentorik Do participants also receive video feedback?

We offer to accompany the argumentation training with a camera. This method has proven to be very useful in the past and has been highly enlightened by our clients, as the video allows for a more detailed analysis of the 2 exercises. If you or individual participants do not want the video analysis, of course we can do without.
